2004 Fender Esquire - '50's style Fender Esquire in black. Nice chunky neck with the big scoop behind the nut for those behind the nut bends. Single layer white guard and three steel saddle bridge. True Esquire switching lets the pickup straight out to the jack in the first position. Nice and bright without being too ice pick in the eardrum. Set up well. Couple of minor dings but overall great shape $599.95

DiPinto Galaxie 4 - Matching Pearl pickguard and headstock face, 4 killer pickups with nifty neato switching and the favourite tremolo of surf music pickers everywhere. Dig those star fingerboard markers! This colour is gorgeous! Makes it look like a big Creamsicle and it's just as tasty. Switching system makes some wonderful pickup combinations. Versatile. Not recommended for those who wish to blend into the background! $695.95

Aria STG Stratoid - Now, is that sonic blue or daphne blue? Let's say baby blue. A Better than entry level guitar with a splitable humbucker in the bridge position. Tremolo works well and the neck is very comfortable. Well finished guitar that's not too spendy. $229.95

1969 Vox Hurricane - If Gumby played the guitar he'd have one of these. All stock but missing the tremolo bar, pivot and spring. Phantom now carries a repro replacement if ya just gotta have it. Looks like a Duo Sonic that melted. Sounds pretty good for what it is. Lacquer checked and a few dings but nothing serious. Comes with it's original case. $450.00

DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe with Bigsby - Absolutely kickin' pickups! Fast neck with star inlays and flashy red sprakle/white pearl/silver sparkle over a white back cap. Slightly bigger than an LP and hollow with a coupling block. Sustains like mad. I'm a spaceship super star with a solar powered laser beam guitar...Not really, but close. Maybe a space cowboy?....Hey, whatever. It's just cool and that's that! $895.95

DiPinto Mach IV - Ultra hip punk meets LeMans rock'n'roll machine with a bit of attitude. Begs to be slung low and power chorded while doing your best Johnny Ramone or Billy Joe Armstrong. Did Billy Zoom start that whole thing?? I digress. Great sounding pickups and a super responsive tremolo. Make the surf wiggle easy. Love the pearloid tuner buttons and how the end of the neck angle matches the neck pickup position. $734.95

Danelectro Psychedelic - Do you love it or hate it? Psychedelic translated from the Greek root words means mind manifesting. Is that what this does for you? I didn't like this at all at first but I have to admit it's growing on me. Limited edition hand painted DC-2 model from Danelectro. This is one of those ugly ones that could be a highly sought after collector's item one day because nobody bought one when they came out. Love the Dano tone, let the paint job grow on ya. $499.95

Aria Pro II Fullerton - Arched front take on the classic Strat with a few changes. Nice reduced and rounded bolt on neck joint, 24 fret neck, master volume master tone control layout. Nice dark Oxblood finish with a painted headstock cap. All the nice stuff. Arched body makes this one very comfortable to play. $329.95

DiPinto Bacchus - A whopping 17 inches across the lower bout this one has a split personality. Not sure if it wants to be a serious jazz box or a White Falcon meets Country Gentleman psychobilly screamer. Does both well. Humbuckers deliver sweet clean tone but hit your favourite crunch pedal and add a little slap back echo and watch the sparks fly. Body is shallow and the back and sides are black. Headstock is reminisent of D'Angelico with Grover Imperial clones. Very cool! Bigsby does the Duane Eddy thang El Perfecto. Shag on down to the Union hall, when the joint starts jumpin' I'll have a ball....ooops, I mean, tall and tanned and young and handsome, the girl from Ipanema goes walking...Oh, you figure it out. $975.95

Aria STG EXO - Nicknamed Woody around here. Seems to be a favourite of several of our teachers. Wilkinson Tremolo and an Ovankol top, nice pickups and a rounded bolt on heel joint. New but a little shop worn. Lists at $439.95 but take Woody home for $299.95

2003 Gibson ES-335TD  - This sucker sings! Flame maple with lots of curl all over, stop tail, dot board, nickel hardware...man she's a nice one! Wide but shallow neck is ultra comfortable. Nothing like those skinny late '60's necks at all. This one fits! Tuners have been upgraded to Schaller Kluson type with a high gear ratio for accurate tuning. Formerly pro owned. Very clean for it's age. With the original HSC. Steal it from me for $2399.95

Fender Paisley Telecaster CIJ  -  Pots are updated to CTS and the old Alpha switch has been replaced with a CRL. Everything else is bone stock and super clean. Really a nice guitar for us Telecaster lovers. Love the look of the originals but can't justify that many thousands for a guitar? Here's a fantastic alternative. James Burton approved! - $849.95

1958 Supro Dual Tone - Hard to find tone machine sounds absolutely fantastic. Looks like it was refinished black 40 plus years ago. Hard to tell but that's my educated guess. Amazing sounding pickups love to bring the greasy sound to your best Lindley licks. Play a little distorted slide on this and your hair will stand on end. Cool! - $1200.00

DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe With Bigsby - So nice to play. Flashy too. Great pickups that sustain like crazy. Bell like tones and good looks in one guitar. Slightly larger than a Les Paul and hollow. Great neck and dressed to thrill! Love it.  $895.95

DiPinto Mach IV - Gold sparkle with cream white racing stripes. Mosrite like outline but a Jazzmaster type tremolo. Combine elements from the best surf guitars and what do you get? The ultimate surf guitar? Well, that's a matter of opinion but this gets my vote. These pickups love a tube amp with a big reverb tank. The trem responds really well whether subtle dips or full on end of the line shake downs. Catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the Twang! $734.95

Aria STG Series Strat Style - These are killer bang for the buck guitars. This ones in Surf Green. Good sounding pickups with a splitable humbucker in the bridge position. Comfortable neck and a decent tremolo. Great for a beginner or a good backup guitar for the gig. $229.95

DiPinto Galaxie IV - Purple Sparkle and white pearl. Loud, proud and so pretty to look at. Has the sounds that make Los Straight Jackets what they are. If you don't know them, what they are is REALLY COOL!!!! Killer surfabilly twanger that will get the girls excited about your playing and posturing during the polka numbers in your Frankie Valli tribute band. How can you say no to that? $695.95

1980 Fender Lead II - Remember these? I do. I used to own one in red back when they came out. This one has changed electronics but no routing or anything nasty. Two nice sounding single coils with a 3 way switch and a phase switch delivers the strat tones in a slightly smaller bodied package. Nice vintage players guitar with a great feeling neck . Good condition for a 30 year old guitar. $589.95

'60's Silvertone Model 26877 - Sears Silvertone 26877 in very hard to find flame maple veneer. Mosrite styled guitar has the German carved top that looks so cool. Original pickups removed and modern pickups placed in the original covers. Wired for one volume and one tone. Very nice to play and sounds great. Probably built by Tiesco. Clean example that delivers the surf tones. Crank up the reverb and play some Dick Dale. Lots of fun! - $450.00

Aria Pro II LP Style - Just traded in. Nice thin bodied Les Paul like guitar in a purple to black burst finish. Smooth neck allows easy access to the upper frets. Bolt on neck model. Two uncovered humbuking pickups deliver the rock tones you'd expect. $259.95

Hamer Quilt Top - Used but as clean as new. This one has been updated with incredible sounding Lollar Imperials with nickel covers. Body, fingerboard and headstock are bound in abalone. Plays great and sounds fantastic! An absolute steal at only - $700.00

Danelectro Anniversary Edition - Limited edition white DC-2 with all gold hardware. Pretty cool I must say. Hard to imagine the words Danelectro and classy in the same sentence but "This Danelectro is Classy". Everybody needs at least one Dano. If you are only going to have one, this should be it. $495.95

1965 Gibson Melody Maker - This is such a sweet guitar. It just sounds absolutely incredible. Clean or dirty, it just sounds so good. A small hole in the pickguard where a mini switch was, a repaired headstock crack (not a break!) through the treble side tuner holes, replaced original type tuners. No routing, no breaks, no changed electronics. Chunky neck just feels right in your hand. The "woman tone" comes to life when the tone pot gets turned down to it's sweet spot. Guitar is very light and very resonant. A great addition to anyone's arsenal! - $1295.95

'50's Danelectro U1 - Refinished but killer sounding Dano U1. Jimmy Page bridge modification. Grover tuners keep this puppy in tune. Wonderful sounding '50's guitar with that smoking Dano tone that everybody loves. Great slide guitar if you jack the action up a bit. Loves a little distortion. - $475.00

ES355TD_009.jpg

1965 Gibson ES355TD - The rarer, non-stereo and no Varitone ES355. Gibson's Top of the line thin line. Patent number decal pickups have most of their gold finish worn off the covers but man oh man they sound sweet! Bridge replaced with an era correct but chrome one but perfect other than that. Pretty nitro trans red finish and gold hardware both show some wear but this guitar feels like an old friend. Original case shows the wear of being pro owned and well travelled but does what it should do. These are hard to come by and this is a very good one. Worn in and amazing sounding guitar. - $7500.00

July122010_006.jpg

1962 ES-125TDC - Started life as an ES-125TC but somewhere along the line someone added the second pickup and extra pots and switch. The dead giveaway that's it's a conversion is the switch is in the wrong spot. Bridge P-90 is a later vintage Gibson I think. Maybe '70's? Original pots dated 61 and 62 and the original Sprague black beauty is there. Newer pots for bridge pickup with a mustard cap. Super light and woody sounding. All the red has faded from the top's finish but back and sides are still bright cherry red. Original, beat to pieces, brown faux 'gator chipboard case included.Had Grovers now back to vintage style 3 on a plate Klusons. - $1800.00

Squire Stratocaster HSS - Great entry level rocker with a pretty hot humbucker in the bridge position. Fantastic starter guitar for the budding rock star. - $189.95

2011 Gibson SG Special Run - Made in limited numbers. This is an all mahogany SG with P-90's that just screams. Roll back the tone control on the neck pickup and add some dirt and you get the Santana at Woodstock tone we all love. Super clean but used albeit, not much. Channel your inner Pete Townshend with a few windmills and power chords and you're in Tone Heaven. No case. $725.00

Lester_028.jpg

Gibson Les Paul Custom '68 Reissue - Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom. 2002 model with a gorgeous Tri-Burst and a super flamey top. Typical Custom appointments like a double bound body, bound headstock, pearl block markers on a tight grained ebony fingerboard and the split diamond headstock inlay. As it's a Custom Shop built guitar extra care has been taken to select premium woods throughout the guitar. Photo doesn't even come close to showing the thick beautiful curl in the maple top. Just a stunning guitar all around. Plays killer and sounds killer. This is a Les Paul you'll keep forever. - $3200.00

Fender Stratocaster MIJ '88-'89 - Okay, I'm not sure what's going on with this one. The body is plywood and thinner than usual, electronics are cheap, tremolo has a chrome tip on the arm and the neck is amazing! I'm not certain this is all original or not. The fellow that traded this in had owned it for quite a while and had never changed anything. The neck is marked like any Japanese 62 reissue and shows some wear on the back. It is one of the most comfortable necks you'll ever play. Looks like there was a locking nut at some point but now convered to a Gibson style nut. Wonderful fast rosewood board with virtually no fret wear! Buy the whole thing for the price of the neck! - $399.95

Wasburn Renegade - Shredtacular! Okay, I know it's not a word but that's what this is! Kickin' humbuckers and string through body design. Sounds really good and a loves distortion settings on your amp. Lists at almost $800 but because the finish has yellowed a little bit, big discount for you. Practice your sweep picking on this for only $399.95

1970 Les Paul Deluxe - Started life as a Deluxe but now laid out like a Standard with two humbuckers. Neck is an old Dimarzio Dual Sound and bridge is a late '70's or early '80's Gibson with the stamped patent number. Gotoh bridge and feather weight tailpiece installed. Old Grovers keep it in tune. I got this from the original owner who toured extensively with it. Lots of laquer checking. Divot worn into the top where the pickguard was removed. Obviously all newer electronics. Pancake body has a worn through the finish bald spot on the back. Played for literally thousands and thousands of hours. How does it sound? Absolutely amazing!! Paul Kossoff to Dickey Betts this one makes the sound that everyone is always searching for! A sustain monster! Play some Zep on this and feel a Whole Lotta Love! Comes with a road weary anvil case. Get it now or cry about the one that got away later. - $3700.00

Feb212011_013.jpgFeb212011_016.jpg

GTX Tele Style - Sort of Tele shaped entry level guitar. Decent sounding and decent playing little guitar. Comes with a GTX branded gig bag. This was the sales rep's demo guitar. New price is $229.95 but one or two minor scuffs makes this only - $129.95

1963 Teisco MJ-2 - Super cute little Teisco has lost it's original controls but has retained it's original pickups and hey, that's the important part isn't it? Plays great but would be a cool little slide guitar for somebody. Pickups love distortion. An old ABR-1 (with nylon saddles!) copy in place of the original bridge offers enough adjustment to make her play in tune all the way up. Hip little guitar! - $285.00

Teisco EP200L - Super rare mid '60's Teisco in a very rare bone white finish. Missing the arm and spring from the tremolo like most of them. Replacements can be had though. Very playable the without them however. Some barely noticeable finish marks bass side lower bout where a sticker or something was. Sounds very cool! Looks nerdy cool! Goes well with Bermuda shorts and a crew cut. Perfect for your surf band tribute to the Champs! - $650.00

PRS Paul Allender Signature Model - Whoooo Scary...Bats on the fingerboard! Beautiful purpleburst finish in a no nonsense two humbucker guitar. Missing the whammy bar. Pickups sound great and I love the neck. PRS guitars always feel like butter and this one is no exception. - $525.00

April_18-2011_009.jpgApril_18-2011_011.jpgApril_18-2011_016.jpg

Hagstrom HJ-600 - Dual humbukers sound great on this one. Gorgeous flame maple back and sides and a spruce top. Great for jazz, rockabilly or whatever you want to throw at it. 2-3/4" deep body is less prone to feedback at higher volumes. Comes with a Hagstrom hardshell case. - $679.95
